MY Consultants have been involved in implementing innovative teaching practices and curriculum development for a number of organisations. These innovative teaching practises include the use of long term group work, the development of increased experiential learning and the design and development of realistic problem based learning. Recent projects have included:

• the design and delivery of a business focussed module for first year undergraduate engineering students
• the design and implementation of induction programmes for students entering higher education.
• The use of group work within distance learning environments.
• The development of a 5 day experiential enterprise development programme for students in further education.

Throughout these projects benefits accrue to all the stakeholders with typical outcomes being:

• Enhanced learning experiences for the participants including the development of transferable skills alongside technical skills development.
• Enhanced retention through the development of student communities

No increase in direct contact hours for academic staff.
