What makes an effective team? How do you as a team leader develop an effective team and lead that team? Many team and leadership courses focus on the theory of teams and leadership but do not focus on the actual tools and skills that team leaders require to build effective workplace teams. Courses offered by MY Consultants focus on practical skills for team leaders to help them build effective teams including:

Building team development into routine meetings
Managing the team development process
Facilitation techniques for team development
Managing the dynamics within teams
Encouraging trust within the team
Understanding their own management style and the impact this may have on their team.

MY Consultants courses will put individuals in situations where they work within teams and through reflective process gain an opportunity to explore team dynamics and identify interventions that would be appropriate within the workplace context.
